Lifelong Faith Formation 2018 - 2019

Lifelong Faith Formation

Our collaborative mission is to provide a program for all parishioners that focuses on Lifelong Faith Formation, not just "religious education".  Faith development is a journey for people of all ages.  For the young people of our parish we will continue to offer a flexible schedule of classes for most grades in order to allow parents to choose a time that works best for their family.

Registration Options and Facts:

  • Oneline registration is now closed.  Please use the paper registration form below.
  • Online registration opens on Friday, June 1stClasses will fill on a first come first serve basis, so register early to secure the day and time that works best for your family.
  • All who register between Friday, June 1st and Friday, June 8th will automatically be entered into a RAFFLE for a chance to receive free tuition for the 2018-19 school year!
  • Not sure of your fall schedule?  Please register now as it is easier to change your day and time than to add your child after registration closes. It also helps us to recruit teachers, form balanced classes and order materials.
  • An inability to meet tuition or additional fees need not keep a parent from registering. Please contact the Faith Formation Office to make arrangements.
  • Registration forms received after July 1st will incur a $25 late fee per family which will automatically be added to your tuition.
  •  If you prefer to pay with a check, please still register online and contact us that your check is coming.

Though it is preferred that you register online, paper registration forms will be available soon and the links will be found below.  Completed registration form, Class Day/TIme request form, along with a check made payable to St. Jude Church may be mailed or deliver in person to the Faith Formation Office.

You will need to download the following forms to register via mail:

About St Jude Faith Formation Program

Saint Jude Parish is a thriving faith community. Our staff works together with numerous parent and parish volunteers to provide faith formation and sacramental preparation for nearly 600 students in grades 1-10.

The purpose of the St. Edward and St. Jude Collaborative is to invite all to know God, to love God, and to serve God so that we may be faithful to God's plan for us in this world, and live with God forever in the next. We recognize that the primary responsibility of raising children in the faith of the Roman Catholic Church belongs to their parents.  Our programs are meant to support parents as they raise their children to be disciples of Christ, however no program or curriculum can teach everything that needs to be taught. No amount of in-class learning and discussion can replace the valuable lessons that are learned through family prayer, participation in the Eucharist, service and conversation. A strong parental involvement is a testament to our common goal.

Please note:

  • If you need a class time that is not offered below, please call the Faith Formation Office.  We may be able to offer another class time if there are other students in a similar positon and space is available.

  • Home study is available on a limited basis when life cirmcumstances or long term illness suggests that attending classes is not appropriate. This option is also offered for students with special learning needs that cannot be accommodated in regular classes. Please call the Faith Formation Office to discuss this option.
